I purchased this mower because I was constantly having trouble starting my gas-powered push mower. I only have about 20 minutes worth of trimming along with about 1 1/2 hours of mowing on my tractor. This mower works well. You do have to be careful if there are twigs in the grass, as they will get caught in the blades, but they are easily removed. I also have to go back and forth over large bladed weeds and dandelions, but that is no big deal to me. For me, it is a relief not to have to frustratingly attempt over and over again to start the gas mower. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and have already recommended this mower to friends who have a small area to trim.
